  • 3 quart large glass bowl
  • 1 wooden spoon or large serving spoon
  • 1 knife

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • tsp salt
  • tsp pepper
  • 8 cups fresh baby spinach (About 6 oz)
  • 6 large hard boiled eggs, chopped
  • ½ lb sliced fully cooked ham, cur into strips.
  • 4 cups iceberg lettuce torn up. (About 1/2 of a head of lettuce)
  • 2 ½ cups frozen petite peas (about 10 oz), thawed, optional)
  • 1 small red onion, halved and thinly sliced
  • 8 oz Sliced Swiss Cheese, cut into strips
  • ½ lb bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  • For dressing, mix the first 5 ingredients.
  • In a 3 quart or larger glass bowl, layer the spinach, ham, lettuce, eggs, peas. And if you desire it, onion.
  • Spread with dressing. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese. Then, refrigerate this salad covered, until you are ready to serve it.
