Instructions
Preheat the broiler.
Cut the grapefruit crosswise in half and with a small knife, cut around the membrane in the center of each half and discard or throw t away.
Cut around each section to loosen the fruit. Place on the baking sheet, with the cut side up.
In a bowl mix the ginger and sugar. Sprinkle over the grapefruit halves.
Broil about 4-inches from the heat until the sugar is melted for about 3 to 4 minutes.
