Ingredients 

  • 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen peas
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  • Cook the peas according to the package directions.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter.
  • Stir in the flour, pepper and salt until blended. Gradually add sugar and milk.
  • Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for about 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened.
  • Drain the peas. Stir into the sauce and heat through completely.
