Grandma’s Southern Baked Beans (Easy Meaty Cookout Side Dish)
Growing up with my grandma, we always made this traditional Southern baked beans family recipe for summer cookouts, church potlucks, and holiday get-togethers.

1 13x9 inch baking dish with the lid
1 drainer
Ingredients
½lbground beef
1large onion, finely chopped
½cupsugar
½cuppacked brown sugar
½cupketchup
2 Tbspyellow mustard
½cupbarbecue sauce
2Tbspmolasses
½tspchili powder
2cans(13.7 oz each) pork and beans or beans with tomato sauce
½lbbacon strips, cooked and crumbled.

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat about 6 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking up the beef into crumbles , then drain.
Stir in the ketchup, sugars, mustard, barbecue sauce, chili powder and molasses.
Add the bacon and beans.
Transfer to a greased 13x9 inch baking dish. Baked covered for about 45 minutes.
Bake uncovered about 10 minutes longer or until heated through out.
