  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 can (10 ¾ oz) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 pkg (30 oz) frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups cornflakes, crushed

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • In a large bowl mix the sour cream, salt, pepper, condensed soup. Now it is time to stir in the potatoes, cheese, and onion.
  • Transfer to a greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
  • In a small bowl mix the crushed cornflakes and melted butter. Sprinkle this over the potato mixture.
  • Bake uncovered for about 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown.
