  • 1 large bowl
  • 1 large spoon

Ingredients 

  • 3 lbs medium carrots, halved crosswise and cut into strips
  • 2 medium onions, halved and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • ½ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Place 2-inches of water in a 6-quart stockpot.
  • Add carrots and the onions, and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat, let it simmer, covered, until the carrots are crisp-tender about 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Drain the vegetables. Toss with the remaining ingredients.
