Ingredients 

  • 2 pkg (5 oz each) spring mix salad greens
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 Tbsp white wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp shallot minced
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • 2 medium tart apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Instructions

  • In a small or medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise, syrup, white vinegar, sugar and shallot.
  • Gradually whisk in canola oil until blended. Refrigerate it covered until serving.
  • When ready to serve, place the remaining ingredients in a large bowl, and toss with dressing.
