  • 1 shredder
  • 1 liquid measuring cup
  • 1 large Slotted spoon

Ingredients 

  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 8 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 lb smoked kielbasa, cut into ½ inch slices
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 can 14 ½ oz stewed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 3 tsps caraway seeds

Instructions

  • In a Dutch oven saute the onion in the butter.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat and cover and simmer for about 30 minutes or until the cabbage is tender.
  • Serve when ready with a slotted spoon.
