Ingredients 

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup whole almonds
  • 1 cup Wheaties
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 4 tsp toasted wheat germs
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 3 medium firm bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 ¼ cup halved green grapes
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 4 cups vanilla yogurt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • In a bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Combine the butter, honey, and syrup. Drizzle over the oat mixture and stir until well coated.
  • Pour into a 13x9 inch greased baking pan. Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack. Crumble the granola into pieces.
  • Combine all the fruits into a large bowl.
  • For each parfait layer 2 tbsps of yogurt, 2 tbsp of granola, 3 rounded tbsp of fruit in a parfait glass or a desert bowl.
  • Repeat layers. Sprinkle with remaining granola. Serve the parfaits immediately.
