Equipment

  • 1 roasting pan (with a rack)
  • 1 large bowl
  • 1 large spoon
  • aluminum foil

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 beef ribeye roast (3 to 4 lbs)
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1 ½ tsp paprika
  • ¾ tsp garlic salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • Mix the seasonings together in a bowl.
  • Place the ribeye roast on the rack in the roasting pan, with the fat side up and rub with the seasonings.
  • Roast uncovered until the meat reaches the desired doneness you want. (If you want medium rare the thermometer should read 135°, medium 140°, and well which is what I do 160°),
  • Roast should take about 1 ½ to 2 hours, depending on the doneness.
  • Remove from the oven and tent with aluminum foil. Let it stand for about 10 minutes before slicing.
