Ingredients 

  • 4 pork chops (½-inch thick)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp canola oil
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 3 cups dry unseasoned bread cubes
  • 1 can (16 oz.) cream-style corn
  • ½ tsp sage
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp grated onion

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • In a skillet brown the pork chops in the oil on both sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Alternate the pork chops and the stuffing lengthwise in a greased 11x7-inch baking dish.
  • Bake uncovered for about 1 hour.
