Ingredients 

  • 4 Tbsps diced celery
  • ½ cup diced carrots
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 4 Tbsps chopped onions
  • ¼ tsp dried marjoram
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 tsps minced fresh parsley
  • 4 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 2 ½ cups diced cooked chicken
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • 1 cup uncooked medium, egg noodles

Instructions

  • In a large stockpot, saute the celery, carrots, and onions in butter until tender.
  • Stir in the broth, chicken and the seasonings, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat .
  • Add the noodles and cook until tender about 10 minutes. Then sprinkle with the minced parsley and serve.
